The test will last about 40 minutes during which time the examiner will give you directions which you should follow.

Learn how to drive BedfordThroughout the test you should drive in the way you have been taught. Don’t worry if you make a mistake, it might be a 'less serious' driving fault and may not affect the outcome of your test. If however the examiner considers your driving to be a danger to other road users your test will be stopped. There will also be approximately 10 minutes of independent driving on the test and this is purely to assess your ability to continue to drive safely whilst making independent decisions. This is something we will practice during the course of your lessons.
